In early sixties, with the outbreak of the industrial renaissance in Syria, Ayoun Industrial and Trading Establishment was established by virtue of the efforts and endeavors of its founder late haj Abdo Ayoun.This establishment produced ordinary washing machines for several years, then the establishment activities developed to produce household gas ovens, electric irons, carpet electric sweeping machines, heating devices and automatic washing machines.

In early nineties the establishment exercised commercial activities in the field of electric household appliances.
At the beginning of 2000 the Establishment introduced the industry of Unique Phoenician glass, and it holds the right of investment and privileges pertaining to the patent of this industry.
Ayoun Al-Sham Travel and Tourism Agency was also established. This agency renders services to pilgrims and visitors to Mecca and holy places. The agency also receives tourist groups and provides air-ticket reservation and organizes tourist tours.
